Canada is well known for the high standards of its renowned educational institutions. Canada is a multicultural country, full of great places to discover and rich experiences. If you plan to come to Canada to learn a language or to study in a particular field, you may need a study permit or temporary status in order to come.

Some of the basic requirements for a study permit are:

• Have been previously accepted by a school, college, university or other Canadian educational institution;
• Prove that you have enough money to pay for your:
– tuition fees;
– living expenses for yourself and any family members who come with you, and:
– return transportation for yourself and any family members who come with you
• Be admissible
• Be in good health; and
• Leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay.
